Overview:

Chinese name: Plasticizer, drier single, butyl tin oxide,FASCAT4101 catalyst,FASCAT4101 catalyst CAS 13355-96-9 Plasticizer drier

Alias: FASCAT4101 catalyst, plasticizer drier, mono-butyl tin oxide, 4101, CAS 13355-96-9, chloro-mono-butyl tin acid, mono-butyl tin oxide chloride, chloro-mono-butyl tin acid

English: 4101, Butyltin chloride, Butyltin chloride dihydroxide

Physicochemical properties:

4101 is an amorphous, hydrolytically stable butyl chlorotin dihydroxide. It can be used in esterification, polycondensation, and transesterification reactions. The catalyst is used to synthesize saturated polyester resin for powder coatings.

4101 is used to produce unsaturated polyester resin for gel coating, sheet molding and casting molding applications. The temperature range for the formation of esters and antioxidants in transesterification reactions is 140-180°C.

The same temperature is required to produce PBT engineering resins for the automotive and construction markets. It provides a shorter esterification time, transesterification cycle time, lower reaction temperature and efficient use of equipment.

Leak treatment

Stop leaks as much as possible while ensuring safety. If a minor leak is found, treat it with sand or other absorbent material and place it in a clean, dry container for subsequent treatment. If a large amount of leakage occurs, the leaked material should be collected for subsequent treatment. Avoid material entering groundwater or surface water, because it is not easily degraded by biological matter. All collected leakage materials should be disposed of in accordance with the relevant regulations of the local environmental protection department.
